Provider Priority

AI Workbench automatically selects the best available provider in this order:

  1. Chrome Built-in AI (Gemini Nano) - Zero config, runs locally
  2. Ollama - Local server at localhost:11434
  3. API Keys - OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, or OpenRouter
  4. Transformers.js - In-browser fallback (downloads model)

Ollama Configuration

Default: http://localhost:11434

API Keys (BYOK)

Keys are stored in localStorage and never sent to any server except the provider's API.

Note: Anthropic API requires CORS proxy or extension

Model Parameters

Lower = more focused, Higher = more creative

Transformers.js Fallback

Model will download on first use
